I first started sewing thread through paper my sophomore year in college and have not stopped since. I found - and continue to find - myself mesmerized by the precision and patience sewing necessitates; by the possibilities of patterns and texture it contains; and by the cultural history(s) and wisdom(s) it embodies.
In addition to my sewing-through-paper medium, I explore graphic design, ink drawings, film-based photography, and watercolor.
